TypingBloom

Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 2026

This policy explains what happens to information when you use TypingBloom at typingbloom.com. It describes the website as it currently works.

Using TypingBloom without an account

You can use the typing test, the number typing test and all lessons without registering, logging in or giving us any personal details. TypingBloom has no user accounts.

What you type

Your typing is processed entirely inside your browser to calculate your results. The text and digits you type are not sent to us or to anyone else, and they are not saved once you leave or restart a test.

Information stored in your browser

TypingBloom uses your browser's local storage for a small number of optional conveniences:

This information stays on your device. It is not uploaded, synchronised or shared, and it will not follow you to another browser or device. If local storage is blocked, the site still works; these preferences are simply not remembered. You can delete this data at any time using the button below or by clearing your browser's site data.

Custom text practice

Text you enter on the Custom Text Practice page stays in the page while you use it. It is never saved to your browser's storage, uploaded or sent to anyone, and it disappears when you leave or reload the page. Please avoid entering passwords or confidential information.

Result images

If you choose to download or share a result image, it is drawn by your own browser from your score. It is not uploaded to TypingBloom. If you use your device's share option, the image goes only to the app or person you choose.

Cookies, advertising and third-party services

TypingBloom itself does not set cookies and does not include analytics or tracking scripts. Fonts are served from the TypingBloom website itself rather than loaded from a third-party font service.

TypingBloom uses Google AdSense, an advertising service provided by Google. Every page loads a script from Google so that the site can be reviewed and, in future, show advertisements. When this script loads, Google and its advertising partners may use cookies, web beacons or similar technologies, and may receive and process information such as your IP address, browser and device information, and information about the pages you visit on this and other websites. This information may be used to serve and measure advertisements, prevent fraud and abuse, and, where permitted, personalise the ads you see.

Whether personalised advertising and advertising cookies are used depends on Google's settings, the consent requirements that apply where you live and the choices you make. You can manage personalised advertising from Google in your Google ad settings, and you can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Google's handling of this information is governed by Google's own policies. For more information, see how Google uses information from sites that use its services for advertising.

The text and digits you type, your custom practice text and the progress information listed above are kept in your browser by TypingBloom and are not passed to Google or its advertising partners.

Hosting and server logs

Like every website, TypingBloom is delivered by a hosting provider. When your browser requests a page, the hosting provider's systems necessarily receive technical information such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time of the request. Hosting providers typically keep this in server logs for security and operational purposes, under their own policies. TypingBloom does not use this information to identify individual visitors.

Children

TypingBloom provides typing tests and practice tools for people of different ages, including students, job seekers, office workers and other learners. No account is required to use the typing tools. Google AdSense advertising may be displayed on the website, as described in this Privacy Policy. We follow applicable advertising, privacy and child-protection requirements.

Changes to this policy

If the website changes in a way that affects your privacy, for example if optional accounts are introduced, this page will be updated and the date above revised.
